So I got my 2004 C240 in April, just recently the speakers in the back and the one on the dashboard on the drivers side began to rattle. I believe this was due to someone I had in the car who turned up music too loud with bass that these old speakers could not handle (sound was never good anyway) I know very little about audio work, did I blow my speakers and if so what is a reasonable cost to expect for replacement? Or any cheaper short-term fixes?
