I have 2004 Mercedes C320. Trying to remove the EGR getting P0400. I am able to loosen up all the bolts but I can't get the actual EGR out. There is a bracket that attaches the oil dipstick that is on the way. I can remove the bolt from the oil dipstick but the bracket itself seems to be attached to the manifold. I've attached a picture that I found on the internet but there was no resolution. ( please disregard comment about PIPE ) ONLY the EGR.. Anyone else had this issue? if so, how did you guys remove the EGR with this bracket on??

Bumping an old question. Did you figure out how to remove the bracket? I'm running into the same issue, and can't find whatever bolt(-s) that is holding it in place.
