2005 C230k 100,000 miles
My wife's 2005 C230 Kompressor just reached 100,000 miles. I would like to replace some bushings for a better ride/stability. My wife would like to keep her car for another 100,000 miles.
Do you know which bushings I need to replace?
thanks

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!
Second. Ensure the timing chain is okay.
Third. Have an alignment and inspection if you can not. That will tell you what needs to be replaced, and if done at a MB Shop - what needs to be done to bring it back to Stuttgart design/Sindelfingen built spec.
Engine and transmission mounts should be evaluated. Oil in harness, inspect pigtails, etc.
Replace fluids, particularly the rear end with proper oils. If you are not flushing the brake fluid every two years, have that done.
One thing to note - there is a good DIY here if applicable to replace the rack carrier bushings.
Good luck, and ENJOY the next 100k! I know I will, just initialized Voice Control and TPMS! I LOVE my manual transmission w203!

All of bushings?? Do you think it's a good idea to replace every one of them? or just inspect them to ensure that they are in good condition - no need to replace? If they're bad, I'll replace them.
How can I tell if the timing chain is stretched or still in good condition?
I'll check the mounts to make sure they're in good condition. I have replaced camshaft sensors, harass, o-rings, etc at 84,500 miles. I will inspect them to make sure that they are in good condition and nothing is leaking oil.
Replace fluids - especially in the rear end...you mean differential axle?
I'll do the brake fluids soon. Thanks!

I'd not replace good parts. Are you experiencing any clunks/issues? Have them inspected and go from there. People will tell you you should have replaced struts at 80k miles Mine were in pretty good condition at 150k.
Typically upper control arm (silver aluminum ones) bushings go bad the fastest.
