official 04 DTM C Klass Photos, are they real C klass based?

do they modify the car base on C klass?
it's so much longer than a normal C klass...
or they build their special chasis with C klass look like WRC cars?
all 3 teams are going to bring their 4 doors sedan back to the DTM, that's good for us to see although they don't look as good as those 2 doors coupes.

so, no, the DTM's chassi is completely different from the street w203.
WRC cars on the other hand are built from the street car's chassi with much more modification. Almost everything on the WRC car is strengthend for heavy duty work for racing.
