All, I having a problem with my C230K it will stall for no apparent reason (any speed, any weather, no pattern) Has anyone here had this problem??

I had that problem with my c240, I had to change out four different batteries and finally the mb service center found out that the problem was a internal short coming from the instrument cluster. After they replaced the instrument cluster I never had any more problems.

Mine used to sputter after start up every so often. The dealer installed new software and haven't had a problem since.

 

Mine used to hesistate when in reverse gear and backing up at low speeds, dealer updated the ECU software and raised idle from 650rpm to 670rpm. Now it is much smoother, but it did stall for no reason one time when I was backing out of a parking spot.
It hasn't done it again since, but it's only been a week. If it stalls again, I will bring it back to the dealer.
