Alarm
Finally got my car and loving it. 
For some reason I thought when you lock the doors and the alarm went on the car was suppose to beep or something. Is this a setting that I need to have set or does it not normally beep when you lock the doors?

no audible chirp... just the lights flashing 3 times.
if you want an audible chirp, checkout flashman's faq on how to get the settings changed at the dealership (Norway setting). but i keep forgetting that it has an unintended side effect... i remember i didn't like it but i've forgotten what it was... my mind is going... oops, there it goes.

I advise not to make the car chirp.
I had it done on my coupe and the sound is similar to truck backing up sound, something like beep beep beep.
I think that beeping sound and MB doesn't go together, so gonna get it back to the silent mode when I go in for Service B.
