C230 Kompressor high idle
Hello everyone, I have a 2003 Mercedes C230 Kompressor Coupe Manual. The problem I am experiencing is high idle. When you start the car the idle is fine even when it is cold it goes down and idles properly, but after you drive and come to a stop it idles anywhere from 1200-2000 constantly going up and down between these rpms, as far as performance I think the power is down a little bit. I bought a new vent hose thinking that it was the problem, but looks like it was replaced before and was in good condition. I also checked for vacuum leaks and couldn't find any. I checked for codes: P0101, P0456, P0172, I cleared them, and haven't got them back (it's been two days) I'll check tommorow. What could it be?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. You need at least a scanner that shows real time data.
I would think that vacuum would be shown on most scanners that show real-time data.
Still, I suggest that you get a good/correct scanner for your MB:
