Scratch :(

Hey there,
I'm new to this forum. I've bought my car around 4 months ago, its a black/black C230K sedan. Some #!$!$!#%^% scratched my car on the parking lot, so I was wondring what do I do about it. Is there any special MB products that will make it disappear or something? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

If your car is only 4 months old, then I would just take it to a body shop and have them take care of it. If the estimate is expensive, or more than your insurance deductible, then file a claim.

The only special MB product that will fix that is an MB Body Shop or some MB Touch-Up paint (which will most likely look bad). Good luck and sorry about your little scratch.

Had scratches that are very similar - best thing is to take it to the dealer and ask them to use their body specialist to wet sand it out. They did it for $100 and the scratches are gone. No need for paint touch-up and this way it'll be smooth to the touch too.

You can just replace that bumper strip. Might be easier than getting it fixed. Comes pre-painted to match too.

Thanks guys

Thanks guys. I'll check out MB dealer to see what they'll charge me to fix it, and how much that bumper lip will cost me.

BTW, I'm thinking to get an SL500/SL55 sometime later this year. That thing is whooohooo!! I just need to make around $90k somehow
