Narcissus

Hey everyone, I have a 2001 c240 Classic, here in Canada the Classic is a bit different than the c240 in the states, one of the difference is a black steering wheel instead of a Java one for my Java interior, now I just ordered a new leather steering wheel to match but here is my beef.

I asked my dealer if they could order the steering buttons in java color, what they told me is that they have to order the whole assembly which is 266$ CAN per side...

I know there has been a lot of issues with cracked steering wheels buttons and I'd be surprised if they had to pay this money for the times (2) I brought my car for cracked buttons...

Do you guys think there is a way to order just the buttons from the stealers or if there would be another place where I could order them or maybe have them painted over? dunno if any kind of paint oculd stick to this fabric, any help would be greatly appreciated!!
