about the c320

hi i'm new, my mom might get a c320 or a used clk430 and it'll be mine in a few months. i was kinda hoping for a bmw but looks like she can't be convinced but anyways, what are the advantages of the 320 over the 230? much difference? and can you put monoblocks on a c class? those are my most favoritest amg wheels in the whole wide world

oh and nice site, this car is soooooooo nice i want a mb now lol

ah, that's why i wanted clarification...

the older c230 4 door sedan (also a kompressor i believe)? or the new c240 sedan?

most mbs are automatics. you can get manual C230k sportcoupe, c240 sedan and slks.

mb-bob, i added the D-rings in trunk standard for the sportcoupe

mmmmmm, you gotta tell us what we're comparing, the W202 C230 Kompressor sedan to the W203 (MY2001+) C240 or C320?

Please ask mommy and get back to us.

Young, I'd like my D-rings fried, please.

D-rings are in the trunk and are used as tie-downs.

Pics here:

Hope this helps.

get the C320 with the sport package, you'll save a heap in insurance and speeding tickets, and it actually drives a lot better than the CLK.

but WTF do I know, I bought a BMW.

I've been trying to cut down on drinking a soda in the morning, but it's not a big will-power thing with me, so I've decided to let the fates play a role. Here's how it works...

On the drive to work each morning, I check out the first BMW 3-series I see. If a guy is driving, I will treat myself to a soda. If a girl is driving, I promise to drink a glass of water instead.

I thought this morning would be a cola day, 'cuz a very nice, freshly washed, black 330ci convertible (top up) blasted past as my first Bummer sighting. After noting to myself, "there's gotta be a dude in that one" I bided my time as the inevitable traffic jam allowed me to catch up... drat, a girl (again)!

I started this on Monday, and I've had only one soda all week.

actually Bob, I only post in one section at DTM, and that is the mid-west meetings and gatherings section. for some reason, a bunch of the members over their don't think I'm funny?

I'm a Moderator at bimmerforums.com though... maybe thats what you were thinking.

bob, it seems to me that we are a whole lot more alike than either of us ever wants to admit... your sense of sarcasm is unreal, it makes reading this forum worthwhile.

Dude, I've always enjoyed your posts, just not wild about your taste in cars...especially when you were nearly into an MB but then got lured to the "dark side." It all means that you can be won over, eventually.

John closed your other thread about the S-Class flame, so I couldn't post there. I hope they're not taking your butt to the wood shed over that one. I thought the other guy was way out of line with his name calling (I reported him to the moderators, myself). We all know you're not gay. Well, you do drive a girlie-mobile Z3, but... (sorry, couldn't resist. My bad.) Later, friend.

not to worry

Although he has been takin by the darkside, the force is still within him and in time he will return. Too funny... I would go for the C320 also... much nicer and the beefier six will move a bit quicker and feel a bit nicer than the smaller six. But if you want a manny tranny, then go for the C240. From what I hear, it takes a bit of time to break in, but once it does they are nice. Fuzzo is selling his so I cant use him as a reference, but there are lots of others here that can give you some input. Fuzzo, you are not going to the other side also, are you? LOL

CLK55 (coupe)
E430 4matic (sport)
C230K C7, C5, K2a
S600
'70 230SL (or is it a 280?)
