apperently there really is a way to roll back KM"S...i went to an MB dealer..some guy was returning an off lease...4 yr old car..with only 36,000 kms...the only thing was he must have not known that MB dealers share the same computer system and that he had already been in for service A & B at another dealership with the KM's recorded...at the last oil change the MB service tech told me his km's was 115,000kms...so that is proof that there really is a way ...just maybe not this one...that guy happend to be a new proud owner of a 4 year old s-class with rolled back kms since MB Canada wouldn't take it back...so there is the proof that there really is a way...now if i could only find out how.

A friend of mine (no BS) had this done to his car awhile back before he turned his car in. Somehow he got in touch with this guy through somebody else who could do it. I dont know how, so dont ask! The guy pulled up, popped the hood and, plugged in what looked like a pda with a wire to the cars diagnostic port. Then he punched a few buttons and said goodbye. It took less than 5min. In case you didnt figure this is really ilegal. DONT DO IT!
My only point is that it CAN be done.

Curious...would this same gizmo of runnin circles work for a W211, say mine??..haha..
If this works, this is crazy. You can definitely get caught when they look up the info in the Benz's computer. My boy works at the Benz shop and told me that they can look at the computer and see if you've been abusive to it in terms of rippin up the streets with it...who knows though!!...
