2004 c230 sport sedan OR 2005 c230 sport sedan

My current lease is pretty much over, and it couldn't have ended at a better time.

As all are already aware, there are some awesome lease deals on the current c230 sport sedan, but, right around the corner, is the 2005 version (with the AMG kit). Of course the 2005 car lease would be at least $100 a month higher than the current lease offering.

What would you do? Lease current 2004 or wait few months for 2005?

BTW, when is the exact date of the 2005 release?

That's right. If I get the 2004, I will still get the free service.

get the 2004 if you can get discount. IMO it's not worth paying over for essentially the same car. Beside it's going to be a lease, it won't hurt you in any way as far as resale goes.

Up here in the great white north, we don't get free maintenance. Just free loaners. Service A is something like CDN$200+ and service B is CDN$400+.

So which would you buy? 2004 Sport C or 2005 Sport C?

Using the exchange rate for Canadian to US (1.00 = $0.760750), that puts A service at $152.15 and B service at 304.30 (not sure how accurate these rates are). Assuming that you will get your car serviced once a year, this averages out to $228.23 per year, or an additional 19.02 per month.

So the question you have to ask yourself is: Is getting the 2005 worth an extra $119.02 per month?
