Arrrgh! C7 wheel scraped! Where to get one?
I made the mistake of acually listening to the guy who was guiding me into the car wash bay and those little railings scraped one wheel.
Where can I get a spare?

Check the yellow pages in your area for places that do wheel repair. They usually charge about $100. Or go to the dealer and pay about $300 for a new wheel. You can also try salvage yards. When you buy new tires, consider tires that have rim guard protection, a feature I love since it protects your rims from stuff like this. The tires I have are the Bridgestone Potenza RE750s but there are other brands that offer this feature.

sorry to hear of your incident Josh. didn't you have something happen to your C7 wheels on your '02 also when you got your sumis installed? or was that someone else?
btw, i saw your '04 parked on Harrison St. in peoria this past week (or maybe it was the week before). i work just off the corner of Harrison and Washington on Washington. looked good. xenons are great aint they?

I had a rim redone by Keystone before, and they did a crummy job. So I will try to find a factory one.

I sure do love the 1.8 engine over the 2.3! And the Bi-Xenons are great, too.

For everyone interested, one wheel/tire $125, 5-10,000 miles left (depending on your driving style) and one wheel (no tire) with 5-6 small nics $75.
I'll have pics of the nic'd one tomorrow.
