Water pump broke!
Question, what would happen if water pump breaks down in the middle of the road?
Mine needs to be changed but i cannot till weekend coz i need my car!
does it display on the instrument table if it fails or about to fail?

If it fails completely, it will cause your car to overheat. If you continue to drive the car when it's overheating, it will damage the engine.
I have to assume a car rental is cheaper than a new engine. Get your car fixed.

On the flip side, if it's still going, just use but go easy on the car until the weekend. It already made it this far. A few more days shouldn't hurt. This is assuming the pump isn't seized or anything.
Not sure if the coolant pump will display anything, but an engine overheat definitely will.

I wasnt too sure how long till it breaks down in the middle of the road so i decided to change it today.
Textar is the brand I dont know if it is any good but i had no other choice. Dont know how long will it last.
