Help - Dropped tool behind radiator and cant get it out
Arrrgh, I managed to drop a set of vicegrips between the radiator fan and the engine block and can reach down to get them out ![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
Is it possible to remove the tray on the underside and get access that way? If so can someone post a diagram? (I'm waiting on my workshop manual dvd to be shipped) and what tools I need?
Thanks

The tray is very easy to remove. Should be a few 8mm hex bolts. You don't even to remove the entire panel or raise the car. The 4 bolts at the front should be enough to lower the panel a bit. Then reach in there and pull out the tool. Good luck.
