W203 CDI 220 Starting problem
Hi Guys...
I have a strange issue.
After parking the car for quite sometime (say overnight), i start and the car starts just fine...then stops after about 3 seconds and then it won't start again until you have cranked say 15 times. While doing that it is as though the car has run out of fuel.
However, this happens if i park the car with the from facing up an incline. If the front is facing down the incline, then i don't have the problem....though i have a misfire for sometime.
What could be the cause of this issue?
Is there a way to get a complete schematic of the fuel line from somewhere? This is a 2002 Model

Thanks for this pointer. I will have a mechanic check that out and see how it goes.
By the way, is the pump related to the fuel gauge?
One strange thing is that when the front of the car is on a lower ground than the rear, the fuel level on the instrument cluster tends to rise and drop when you reverse the two....just wondering if they are related.
