Just finished updating my site with pics of my Dell DJ 20 install.

Basically I used a Pro-Fit metal plate, Pro-Fit universal clip thing, and a Belkin DJ holder. Shaved down the holder, and epoxy'd it to the Pro-Fit universal clip thing. Then ran RCA to Mini-Stereo from my Navi Aux RCA input through my glovebox.

Parts cost around $100 total.

When I use my DJ I reach into my glovebox and pull the wire...then close the box with the wire hanging out a bit...when I am done, I open the box, drop the wire in and close it...nobody can see the wire...no holes anywhere...

If I get rid of the DJ I just remove the 2 screws that hold the Pro-Fit bracket and nobody can tell I had anything there.

I also moved my Verizon Cell, v60p, to a better location then I had it before.

would the wire get ruined after a while since you have to keep closing the glovebox on it?

also, any concerns about the DJ proximity to the airbag?

 

Umm...no, its a thick wire...if it ends up getting ruined, i'll just replace it...it was less then $10 at radioshack.

As for the bag, no it shouldn't be a problem. Pro-Fit says its designed in a place the bag wont touch.
