w203 Cluster swap
Hi guys. I have a A203 540 2847 cluster and ordered the same as a replacement. The replacement is great but odometer reads -------. I read that I can just swap the eeprom chip and it'll display the correct odometer, however, there is not one picture that I could find which specifies which chip is the eeprom chip. Will replacing the eeprom chip even work, and if so, can someone please provide an image of a pre-facelift cluster board with the eeprom? Or, if someone can tell me how to replace whole board without damaging the flex cable, that would be awesome. Thank you.
P.S. These are the only images I found online of the cluster board:

I swapped my cluster recently.
I went to a local indy. He set the mileage on the new cluster to 10 miles or so then after the swap he did an adaption to copy the true mileage over from another module in the car. This only works if the new IC has low mileage, hence the reset.
