Doors not unlocking

Doors not unlocking
My W203 has developed a problem where the doors won't unlock from inside when pulling on the door handle. Actually the door handle won't budge. I then have to use the unlock button on the centre console to unlock the doors.
The remote works perfectly to unlock the car from the outside.
Did anybody have this problem before, and what is the fix?
Any advice will be appreciated.

I don't think so, as once the doors are unlocked the handles work perfectly. All the doors behave in this manner.
I suspect it an electrical problem, or a release mechanism that is malfunctioning.

well, check fuses ( https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...82&gid=1&pid=2 ), the contact on the B pillar. could also be a controller. but maybe you should start with a fault code reader
