Seafoam C230 2003
Hi everyone. Sorry about a really n00b question. I am trying to sea foam my c230 2003 kompressor coupe with 130k miles on her. I read that break booster line is the best way to do it. Can some one show me where the break booster line is located so i can clean this baby out. thank you for your time!

There is a spirited debate about whether Seafoam is safe to use on vehicles. On a complex machine like a Merc, you're more likely to flood the engine and cause damage to it trying to dump it down the intake manifold. I've used Seafoam on my 2000 Jeep TJ via the brake booster line several times but it's pretty hard on it. I wouldn't do it to our Merc. IMO, if you want to use it, just dump in the gas tank. If you must go the intake route, pick up the spray version of Seafoam with the special straw that you can use to bypass the MAF sensor. Hopefully that product will at least prevent issues of dumping too much down the intake.
