270CDI - Sluggish on take off
Please Help!!
Yesterday my car went to the garage as when it had its B service on Tuesday they advised that the car needed a new gearbox filter kit and a new alternator pulley, which I assume is the fanbelt. Needless to say, when I collected the car it had no power on take off, the speedo needle was jumping around and I could barely get up to 60km's an hour going up the on-ramp to the freeway. As it was already dark, I just took it easy and drove home slowly. Could they have done something when they changed the gearbox filter kit? Also when I arrived to collect the car, the bumper was off and I just managed to stop them from taking out my radiator to replace the pulley. I told them to stop and put everything back on and I would take the car to someone that knows what to do. Needless to say, now my parking sensors don't work.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
