w203 facelift rear bump strip removal
hi, i have a 2006 c220 cdi sport edition estate with a intermitant parking sensor problem, it has been diagnosed to the rear right outer sensor.
how do i remove the one piece bump strip that the sensors are mounted in?

Pretty easy...
I have a PTS install somewhere here...
Anyway - look in the rear back of the wheel well - there is a small screw.
Undo it.
Then, unsnap/remove all the tabs and pull out.
I always look on eBay for cheap spares to buy and reference when pulling apart something for the first time...or, at the very least they provide front, back, side, etc. images!
You MAY want to put some tape (layers) above and below the strip if you use a thin piece of metal (i.e. thin ruler) to pop the snap tabs out...
