2006 c280-fuel issues
Hi, I'm not a new member, but this is my first thread, as I have exhausted all other efforts to resolve problem.
2006 C280. I have run out of gas multiple times. The dash shows that I have more than 1/4 tank but less than 1/2 tank of gas. When add gas, it starts up. My mechanic usually brings a 5 gallon can with him. Afterwards, I replenish fuel to full, which cuts off when I add about 7 gallons. According to the search, the C280 holds at least 14 to 16 gallons, which means I should have at least 2 gallons left.
We have replaced ignition coils, spark plugs, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, and manifold block (because it showed some damage). It continues to do the same, so I ruled out the fuel pump, and was able to send the unit back for full refund, and reinstalled old pump.
Oh, and I've used only premium gas.
Any suggestions?

Welcome. You may want to repost this in the W203 forum which is the model specific forum for your car. Better chance of getting responses there as many older members don't come to this section of the forum often.
