W203, M271 engine and oil in the first two spark plug wells
went to replace the spark plug coils and spark plugs for rough running and found the first two wells for the spark plugs full of oil. The last two were clean. The coils were bad and plugs needed to be replaced but not sure why the oil in the first two wells especially the first.
Valve cover gasket or the rubber seal for the oil filler cap???
Dont want to run the car and ruin the engine. please help. Thanks

Most likely caused by bad gaskets. No biggie. Just pick up a new set from the dealer (1 large one, 4 small ones) and replace. Shouldn't be too difficult as it's right at the top.
