Pulled engine to replace balance shaft. On reassembly WIS AR03.20-P-3063-01SX says "The crankshaft radial sealing ring and crankshaft flange must not be lubricated. This just a lip seal. I'v never replaced a lip seal without lubing it with whatever oil it was sealing. I'm confused. Any benz wrenches out there who could shed some light on this.
