You know, I thought about that idea. In the end, though, the three I found used where about as much as a new one. I'm in the Bay Area too. People have gotten good deals as SF Benz and the San Jose dealer.

Mine may come back to MB via the lemon law so you can probably get it cheap from MB in a few months.

I just need the thermostat to break one more time!

Mine too. Get my thrid seatbelt out of five trys on Friday. I have no faith that they can fix it. Buellwinkle, maybe we can get group discount with my lemon law attorney.

Why is it that only in the US these packages have code names instead of full verbal description, as in the rest of the world?

Not that this directly helps you, but I did notice a standard C230 with essentially no options for $23.5 with about 6,000 miles. That did include a price drop from $25K. I guess my point is you are not likely to save much money used right now since so few cars are out there. By the way, the car is here in the Midwest which is why this info does not directly help you.

Bestr regards,

CP

It locks up on me. I've had it looked about a few times and changed twice. Dealership said there is nothing wrong. So, I'm taking it to another dealership. If they can't fix. I'm going to hire a lawyer can cause MB some financial pain in exchange for the the red welts on my collar bone area.

Rick said that there was a recall on the seat belt tensioners. Maybe you want your dealership to check that out.

Thanks for asking, good luck.

C250 Coupe 2012
Back in October, when my car hit Jacksonville, was but on hold until they cold fix the seat belt tensioners. The factory had but a stop on all cars to be delivered to fix this problem. My has work perfect, so you might check what the problem and fix was, think the problem was found sometime in September. Good Luck.

there is a poll that answers your question. but in san diego, with a costco membership, they will knock off $1200. off of the sticker price. that is a pretty good deal i think. there isn't any haggeling needed, just sit back have a free cappiciono and pick some options. i have a suggestion for you, if you don't get a single other option, get the C7. get the C7, and did i mention to get the C7???? it is only a $750 option, and it is the best deal there is on anything with a mb star on it. ask around

Oh, you absolutely MUST get the C7! Particularly with a 6-speed manny. Or you'll never stop wanting to kick yourself....

G Factor,
You will have a hard time finding a coupe with no add on packages. I had to order mine. I got mine without the C7 package because it was already on the ship coming over, but if you have a choice, it is a good deal for 750.00. BTW, I have driven both the C7 and standard trans, and There is no significant difference in how they shift. But the wheels are great looking.

I was wondering how much could we get the car from the dealer. Could we bargain for price below MSRP?? Like the costco thing where you pay 1200 below MSRP??

You are the only person I know of who says there is no difference. I have driven both and the C7 shifter is much, much better, IMO.
