2006 C180 Kompressor
Subwoofer Install
Hi all
I have a 2006 C180 Kompressor. It does not have the HK nor the Bose sound system, and I do not have a subwoofer in the rear deck.
I want to install a subwoofer and an amp, but I want to use the stock location for both as I want to keep the car as original looking as possible.
I know the location for the sub is shallow and downward firing, as it plays into the trunk. What sort of reinforcement does the rear deck cover need to be able to handle the downward firing sub, or is it currently strong enough?
Please send me your thoughts and ideas, as I do not want this to be a mess.
