flat hood badge?
Has anyone ordered the flat hood badge from www.formymercedes.com before? what is the diameter of their badge? I'm looking for something around 2-2.25" wide. thanks

2.25" diameter. This is the standard flat badge you will find on any SLK or C230K... actually any MB coupe. You can buy one from the parts dept at any MB dealership. Ask for the Flat badge kit for an SLK. I paid $25 for mine.
Only problem with this part is that the Blue color around the wreath fades in the sunlight after a couple years. But it fades on a CL500, too.

thanks for the replies. I have been seeing a few on eBay that have mixed nubmers for the diameters, so I decided to try to find a website that had decent prices. As for the dealership they were asking for 59 for the complete kit. To me that was too much for a cosmetic mod.... thanks again..
