Ever lost tiny orange clip from clock spring?
Has anyone ever lost one of those tiny orange safety clips from the clock spring wiring where it attaches to the airbag unit? I was replacing the turn signal switch, and in the process of removing the clips from the airbag one of the little orange clips flew off, bounced around a few times and vanished... I believe possibly down the vent for the windshield defog in the dash. Now the SRS light is on and I'm pretty sure its due to the lost clip. Dealer hasn't been of any help and I can't find any at the wreckers. Does anyone know where to find them, or if anyone has a spare clip kicking around, would anyone be interested in selling it. I really don't want to fork out a bunch of money for a new clock spring just because of a tiny piece of plastic that went AWOL.

Bummer. So for ****s and giggles how much would you be willing to pay for this small part? What's it worth to you for me to travel to a Pick-n-Pull, (closest one with a w203 is at least 30 miles away in each Direction) remove the airbag and snag that clip for you? it's really not a matter of the value of the part it's more of that it's my time and gas.
I'd do it for a hundred bucks, which might seem excessive that we're talking at least 2 hours and 4 gallons of gas.
