Windshield washer pump not working

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forums and I need help with my car. I have a 2006 c230 sport.
I’m having issues with my windshield washer. I replaced the pump and it still doesn’t work. I press down on the combination switch but I don’t hear the motor and the wipers don’t move either. Any suggestions on what it could be? Thanks !

Had same issue before...it’s your turn signal stalk...bad design that pinches the wires off...three wires in the stalk...that should be your issue

Most likely you will need to replace the multifunction switch. the snapped wires cannot be reconnected unless you have really good hands in small electronics. I replaced mine, it's not a difficult job. But necessitate patience in removing the very sensitive sensor board unit after removing the steering wheel. To protect the wires in the new unit, I wrapped the wires with thin tape and glued it on the white plastic inner case, this way, it will not get snapped. The new unit comes with instruction to mitigate the bad design. good luck!
