Hi,

New to the forum and new to the Car,

Just purchased from a private sale and feel like an idiot, car struggles to start although turning over fine and seems very sluggish when i used the kickdown, loads of revs in a single gear for a long time with barely no acceleration although when not using the kickdown it accelerates fine.

Any ideas what this could be? Doing some research it pointed me towards maybe a dodgy fuel injector or the MAF sensor.

Help please
