w203 C200K pre facelift
CL203 Prefacelift upgrade to Audio 20.
Hello everyone,
I own a W203 Sports-Coupe C200 pre-facelift 2001 model Sequetronic.
I recently decided to upgrade my main consol with the facelift one.
Everything works fine (a/c, buttons etc...) besides my Audio 20 (before i had Audio 10) doesnt communicate with my steering wheel controls and Cluster lcd.
My cluster orange lcd shows AUDIO - - - - - - and the controls to the steering wheel do nothing for the radio.
I have done enough research and did not find any solution
Most of MB specialists here in Greece dont know what to do, only 1 told me that i will need some kind of adapter to connect with the Can Bus, i dont really understand what this means.
Is there anyone out there who can guide me on what i need to buy and what i need to do in order to make my Audio 20 work with Steering wheel controls and Cluster LCD ?
Thanx in advance.

I used a Crux SWRBM-57C interface to install an aftermarket unit in my 2005 C230 sedan. It works well with the steering wheel controls, but I cannot figure out how to have it communicate with the information screen in the gauge cluster. The same device may work to integrate the newer Mercedes model head unit in an earlier car.
