I hand sanded the crome down down to the plastic with light auto sandpaper. Then I bought a couple cans of that new plastic spraypaint. After a couple coats it looked good, but I bet black would look very sick, especially on a black car.

Your car looks totally sweet. I myself like this grill a lot!. IMO, when I check new MB Model e.g. SL, CLK, and future S-Class; Classic grills (the one that is installed on C, E, S with silver color on the frame is start PHASING OUT!
Your C now is just look hmm... 2006 C-Class or whatever hehe.. I am pretty sure all your neighbors or anyone seeing your car will give A++
