C200 W203 2002 EGR Problems

First I want to apologize for any grammar mistake or any word that is not understandable.

I am having problems with my EGR valve, first i had a problem with the air sensor and the car wouldn't pull,i have replaced the sensor now and the car was working great but as soon as you passed 120KM/H the car would slow down and wouldn't pull without turning it off and starting it again. I cleaned the EGR valve and now the car will accelerate up to 140-150KM/H and slow down again. I was wondering what would happen if i was to remove the vacuum hose that connects to the EGR. OR if i was to open the valve manually and keep it open. What would the consequences be,or would there be any.
Thanks in advance

I apologize for the large photos.

Car would run funny (specifically rough idle) and your emissions would go out of whack as the computer is expecting a certain amount of mixed gases (if you care).

Are EGRs that expensive in your area? You can also try a wrecker. From a performance standpoint I don't think there's any advantage to removing an EGR.

Remap C200 W203 2002 with EGR problems

I am planing to remap my c200 that has EGR problems and wont go over 120KM/H, so i am planing to do a EGR off (or egr delete idk if its the same) and increase the power by 30-35PS. Stock the car has 120PS but increasing the power will depend on the engines condition.
Will there be any problems on passing emission test and what will the car feel/drive like?
Thanks in advance

I would disable the EGR, if your car is the 2002 W203 then its the simpler if 2 mods, its it has been done electronically on many models by using a the same few simple components and seems to work well, unfortunately the thread explaining the details is on a different forum so i'm not certain the forum rules allow me to post a link here but if you PM me i will provide it.

I have installed the mod and the cars performance is much improved with a lot less black smoke at full acceleration (which was my problem) and the turbo is a lot more livelier!
