BBS Wheels?

How do you guys like this wheels wor a coupe?

Im buying them used for about $1200.. what do you guys think?, the only problem, is they are 17 and I would prefer 18, but the price is pretty good? , and they are in good conditions...

Should I go for it?

Go for it. Those wheels are sweet. Of course it would be nicer if they were 18", but on the other hand, with 17" the tires will be less expensive and the comfort better. Whether $1200 is a fair price or not, I don't know.

if 1200 is a good price.. then i would definitely go for it... you are right.. 18's would look better...but 17's will do just fine... it will probably take a bit longer to clean off the brake dust from those rims though

will u be lowering your car?

I really like those rims. You should get them. I was considering them for my car before I got my Brabus. For other people who want it just go to tire rack. They carry BBS there.

Remember that scene in "Animal House", when Tom Hulce (can't remember his pledge name - was it Pinto?) was trying to decide whether or not to have sex with the chick who passed out? Easy decision, but anyway, I'd like to do something similar:

Devil: Get 'em! They're a really nice rim, BBS is a great company, and the price is right.

Angel: Well, if you don't want 17's, then add $1200 to the price of the 18" rims that you eventually get when you finally admit to yourself that you wanted them all along. Of course, you'll get something back on the 17's when you sell them, but then they'll be older, probably have some dings, and have been through two owners. Aftermarket parts are a crappy investment.

Devil: But if he's going to trade in the ccoupe anyway, he obviously must have money to burn, since this is going to cost him several thousand all by itself. So he should still get 'em.

Angel: Well, he's only shooting himself in the foot on both purchases. Think of all of the homeless shelters that could use that money that he's going to throw away.

Devil: *ussy.

My honest opinion is to pass. You'll probably hate yourself eventually for getting those rims in a size you don't want. The best thing that you can do, cost-wise, is buy one product that you know that you really want, which I really don't see you saying. HTH.

Tommy really has a point, if you settle for 17's, you are setteling. the rims are just awesome. the quality and look are just great, but if you have your heart set on the 18's then wait till the money is there. you will be more happy in the long run

i saw a clk with those and instead of having the bbs center tap, he put the mercedes star. it looked clean. i think doing that on a c coupe would look sick. maybe i'll get those
