C240 Audio Problem
The response both on the steering wheel controls as well as on the COMMAND unit itself respond very slowly to inputs. The system takes several seconds to respond to changing radio channels, volume or CD tracks. Usually if the car is turned off and restarted the system will return to being "crisp" but will become "sluggish" again and remain that way until being restarted. I havent noticed any other adverse effects on other parts of the electrical system - just the Audio Controls. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't have the CD Changer - just the non-bose Command System.

It may be something to do with the fiber optic or one of the cable connectors at the back of the unit being slightly loose. I remember an old post where someone had a pinched f/o cable, symptoms were slightly different, though.
BTW, when I swapped out my head unit, I took a few minutes to clip all the cables in the dash into their little clips. The desingers thoughtfully provided them, but the assembly line crew seems to have found them superfluous.
