I just bought a 2002 C240 about a couple of weeks ago and I notice that the odometer reading is incorrect. On a commute that i know is about 36 miles (Honda Accord and Infiniti QX4), I get 45 miles on the Benz. Is anyone else getting this problem? Should I be concern and bring it in to the dealer to get it check out? Please help!? Thank you.

 

I don't remember the exact conversion ratio, but any chance it's reading in kilometers?

 

36 miles is about 58 kilometers, so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

 

I checked the settings and it is set at miles and not kilometers.

I'm going to do some test run and comparison to see if I have a legit problem.

Will keep you guys updated.

 

maybe you've been smoking too much, and forgetting about the longer route you're taking now that you're enjoying a benz? :p
