wheel fitment on w203

Whats up ladies and gents. This is my first post here on MBWorld in a long long time... owned a 96 c220 back in the day and got a lot of help from this forum in the past so THANKS!! purchased a 2006 C280 a couple of months back and im loving it.. Going to check out a set of rims tonight and wanted some input on fitment... Now, let me start by saying YES I SEARCHED THE WEB and YES I looked at the wheel fitment chart for my make and model... just had a quick question and hoping someone could give me some input on.. The wheels im going to check out are Axis Sport XM.. 17 x 7.5 offset 35. ( 5x112) .. I checked wheel specs online and this pattern will fit my car, however- the tires that are on the rims are a little bigger than the ones suggested on the MB wheel chart... the tires recommended on the chart are 225/45 .., and the tires on the rims im going to check out are 225/50 ... My question is will this be an issue?? hoping 45 vs 50 isent a huge difference and I wont get any rubbing?? THANKS

it is a big difference. It will most likely cause your abs /esp system to freak out and throw codes. Find a tire size calculator and put the numbers in.
