What happens when you take card board from the front and block off the air flow-------but what happens when to put an MB thermostat in the vehicle?

Hi, thanks for replay,
I still didn't try this method yet but I will. When we are install another MB termostat, we were going on the road and everything was ok. After 15 km the engine was reached 80c, of course the speed was about 120 km/h. With the last one this was not possible and I was thinking finally problem resolved.
But after second longer ride after two days, it was the same like the first termostat. I forgot to mention that first MB termostat was installed last year in October.
Today outside temp. was -8c and motor was reached about 65c and pipe was hot and radiator was warm. Is that normal? Why is fluid going trough the radiator and circulated and temperature is not even close 92c?

Today I was put front cover to block air flow. Outside temp. was -8c and engine was reached 80c after 20 km. Without blocking air engine was reached about 50c.
I'm sure that this is termostate failure. Tomorrow I will go in MB service again and I will be back with more information.
