want to add a changer to factory C320 system...
I just picked up a C320 w/ c2 and c4, but i chose not to pay for the over priced 6 disc changer. i was wondering if anyone did the same and put in a after market changer and if so could you tell me what kind of changer you put in and if you had any problems? thanks.
mercedes benz is a great car company, but whats the deal with paying almost $40k for a car and not getting a standard cd player in the year 2002. i have a damn acura for a little less then $30k and that even came with a standard in dash 6 disc changer. strange.

If you wish to use the streering wheel buttons, you have two choices. One, the factory Alpine changer. You can buy it from Autoclass for $400 plus cable and mounting kit. Two, there is the Becker Silverstone 2662.
If you wish to retain the stock headunit, you can add an RF modulated changer which will be operated by a remote control.
Last option is to completely replace the Mercedes sound system.

Try www.autoclass.net. They have the MB OE changers for $399. I find it useful to search for topics before I post. This topic has been extensively
