Last week I bought a obd2 cable to connect my computer to my c270cdi. After a bit of fiddling around it seems to work really nice. You can get all kinds of info out of it. Even made some graphs of a 0-100kph sprint. See http://www.verboom.net/projects/mb/obd/index.html

I'd really would like to see a video of the parkatronic in action. Sofar I've only seen it thru windows on parked cars.

The connector is located at the driver side near the handle to open the engine compartment.
The only other thing you need is a computer running windows to get the data. That's it.

So this obd2 thing will work on all of the car after 1996? So I guess it will work on my C230k. The reason I ask is becasue I can't find the listing of the cars that are after 2000.

. As the car is pretty close to the right wall, the right side of the parktronic is already on. When I drive towards the wall the left side comes on as well.If I have time this weekend, I'll make a better one, including the one in the back.

, but as far as I understand it should work on cars after 1996, except for some mercedes models (think they're listed somewhere on www.obd-2.com).Mark
