W203"ESP Not Available Check Owners Manual"
hi i have a 2007 Mercedes c180 w203 ,
it randomly keeps showing "esp not available check owners manual". i used a scanner tool and it showed nothing. i took it to a mechanic and used an expensive mercedes scanning tool to scan and it showed nothing. changed the battery yet the message still appear, the alternator voltage shows 13.76 under load and 13.81 no load. the weird thing is that it keeps doing that in cold weather and barley do that in a hot weather. i cleaned all of the ground connections to the body and every thing. im literally lost, any tips or any type of help? as an electrical engineer i failed to diagnose the problem XD

Hi,
I have the same problem in my car, I took it to a special mercedes dealer and after conecting the OBD tool he said it is the strearing wheel sensor which is not working properly and affects the ESP. The reapair costs kind of 300€, I've lived with it for almost a year.
