I don't have COMAND, but for those who do there is an AUX connection in the glovebox.

It should be. The changer doesn't use the AUX connector. It has a separate fiber optic cable.

Look in your glove box, all the way against the right side...see that small silver hole, thats it. You can't miss it. To activate it, you must hit the SVC button and choose the AUX option on the COMAND unit.

Do all cars have this? My car came stock with the CM1010 and 6 cd changer. I installed a COMAND 2.0. Will I still have this AUX input? Which cable would I need to buy?

If you installed your own comand then it's easy. I cut off cheap headphones leaving a about an 18" long wire with the correct plug that works in my iPod. Then tap into the C2 connector on the back of Comand and I ran it under the unit and into my ashtray where I keep my iPod. The wiring diagram is somewhere on my website in the Comand WIS. You activate is from the radio side by pressing the SVC button and navigating to AUX and setting your sound options. If you have a U.S. spec Comand, you get the pleasure of setting sound settings each time you start your car.

When you did this, did you only wire in the AUX LEFT and AUX RIGHT pins? Or did you need something else for the AUX SHIELD? I am getting ready to do this as well, just making sure I have everything I need before I start. I have my headphones cut already, with the 1/8'' connector on one end, and the wires at the other. Doesn't look very hard. Did you order the connector pins from MB? I'm sure they sell them other places too right? Maybe Home Depot? Thanks

If you are not a cheap-*** you can get the correct Aux input cable from MB. Check this thread for the correct part number...https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...2A+part+number

Thanks for the input, but cheap has nothing to do with it. I have all of the parts I need here at home already...why would I go buy something from the dealer?

Aux for 2003 C230 Coupe

My car has the punch-out circle in the glove but I'm not sure if the aux (part number: 203-540-61-07) will work or have that already installed white connector. Could some one please let me know if that's the right one and if not, how I can get one installed?

Thanks
