mats question

What is the mat all the way to the left for? I've never seen it before for any other car in my life...

Auction URL is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ategory=33697.

Does the car have 4-Matic? Many times there is an enlarged hump in the footwell due to the extra components.

The seller's description is "2003 Mercedes Benz C Class (C230 + C280)4 DR/SD Floor mats Like new. They still smell like a New Benz . Gray With Mercedes Benz Logo on Rt + Left front mat."

I don't think my mom's 4MATIC has a fifth mat... Maybe I should ask the dealer about that?

I don't think those are the mats for the W203 C-class because his description are all wrong.

first, there's no C280 for 2003 C-class and second the front passenger mat of the W203 isn't shaped like that w/ the footwell area cut off.

those mats looks more like the ones for the V-class or Vaneo sold in Europe as those are the only two that I can imagine that might need that long mats for the third row.

Hmm... The 2003 4MATIC definitely has the cutout for the front passenger. If not the C320, then at least the C240.

I see, but I dunno then. it's best to pass on those if you ain't sure about what mats are those.

That long mat is either for a wagon with a third row or for the trunk. Could be the mat for the trunk in a sedan.

I thought trunk mats were thinner and shaped to fit the trunk?
