2031 -no or incorrect CAN message from control unit N80 (steering column module
I had my timing chain repaired. After the mechanic repaired my vehicle, he told me it would not start. He is getting the message "2031 -no or incorrect CAN message from control unit N80 (steering column module" I understand its two wires coming from the CAN BUS. He did mention he had some wires disconnected that mimicked a bad alternator but he fixed the wires loose from the battery.
