suspension noise
I have the H&R Cupkit on my 2003 Coupe. When I go over sudden bumps or potholes I get this sound from the left rear. It is like a "popping" sound. I cant quite explain it right, it doesn't sound like metal to metal but im not sure. I've checked all the seating of the spings and pads, and they seem ok.
could this be a bad shock or is there a more simple solution.

I'd first double check the installation of the spring. Make sure it's properly seated in the lower control arm. Also make sure the upper spring pad is properly seated on the spring.
Check the bolts for the shock as well.
The rear isn't a complicated setup, so you really shouldn't be experiencing any noise.
