07' C280W4 front driver's axel [circlip?]

Hello everyone,

Did the front right axle on my 4matic when the control arm gave up the ghost. Using a slide hammer with vise-grips to pull it from the differential worked on the 1st or second slide. Now it's time to do the driver's axle (and control arm), looking at sheet AR33.30-90620P that I found here in another thread and it's shows the Cir-clip on the right side [60n] but doesn't show a Cir-clip for the driver's axle or one on the intermediate shaft [34]. I'll add the pic, does the left side have a Cir-clip? - NP

I think you should have this snap ring on both sides, and retaining ring on both sides of intermediate shafts as well..

Thanks, yeah it came off, wasn't that bad. Took about 10 slides of vice-grip/slide hammer combo and it came off. Nice new CV and control arm in there now. - NP
