Okay, I was going to replace the camshaft adjuster magnet today on my '02 c230k coupe (m111.981) however, this nipple normally has a vacuum which leads into the coolant reservoir. The nipple is in the way and I am unable to remove the old cam adjuster. I was thinking about possibly filing it down or completely cut it down a bit, I really don't want this "quick replacement" take a couple of hours by removing a bunch of parts that don't need attention at them moment. Thank you for your help.
