They are only available from a dealer and you will need to bring the car to the dealer to have the new key synched to your car. The on-line sellers decline to sell replacement keys because they are a “theft sensitive “ item. The cost is likely to exceed $250.

all you need is your registration (vin) there is no "syncing" to my knowledge. I had to buy a new key for mine. the new key worked without any other fiddling. They are not cheap unfortunately.

I ordered a new key many moons ago by talking to a dealership and sending in copies of my driver's license and registration. I had to pick it up at the dealer in person. I picked up the key at the parts counter, stuck it in my car and it worked straight away. They never touched my car.
I should add I live 2 1/2 hours from the closest dealer, so that may have helped convince them to let me order in advance. They did insist I pick it up in person. I had to call several dealerships to find one that would work with me to do this.
