Problem with reverse lights !
Hello everyone ! I'm new to this forum and I would like some help. I'd thought that people here do know and may find my problem !
My caris a C220 W203 2001 CDI - Manual Gearbox
So, the problem I am having is with the reverse lights, only one right lamp do lights when I put the car on reverse. Someone told me that the problem is common and lot of people do have it but I'm not sure if anyone did find the solution.

1997 Mercedes S500
Mine does the same thing. I jumped the car with the key in the ignition and blew up the front SAM Module. Had it replaced and now I lost running tail lights and only one side lights up in reverse. Replaced the whole circuit board on that side with all new bulbs. I'm thinking the Rear SAM may have been more collateral damage...

I didn't got any collateral damage since the lights where working before a 10 days vacation, and after I got back, I did realize 2 days after that they were not working properly.

2001 s 430 w220.
have same issue but wont get out of 2nd gear, then I have to turn off and restart car, does this abut every other time I start the car, any direction for a solution .. thx
also thought about replacing the trans solenoids since im going to service the trns.
